2. Website hosting

This website is hosted by united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany, under the Webspace M plan. A data processing agreement governs processing on our behalf. For its webspace service, united-domains uses IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. According to the provider, webspace data is stored in Germany.

When you visit the website, technically necessary connection and access data is processed. This includes your IP address, requested pages and files, access time, browser, operating system, device type and, where provided, the referring page. Processing enables delivery, stability and protection against misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure and reliable website operation.

According to united-domains’ product-specific information, IONOS retains access data with anonymised IP addresses for eight weeks for security and stability. See united-domains’ privacy information, Webspace section (German).

3. Email enquiries

If you email us, we process your email address, your name if provided, and the content and attachments of your message to handle your enquiry. Our email accounts are also hosted by united-domains, acting as a processor.

For enquiries relating to a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is responding to messages addressed to us. Providing information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without information necessary to handle your enquiry.

We delete correspondence when it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate grounds require further storage. Business or tax documents subject to retention obligations are kept for the applicable statutory period; records needed for legal claims are retained according to the relevant limitation periods. Statutory retention is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

4. Fonts, images and videos

Fonts, images and videos are loaded from this website’s webspace. No external font or video platforms are embedded. Loading these files generates the access data described under hosting. Format examples load only when playback is selected; the hero video may start automatically without sound.

5. Cookies and audience measurement

Our website code does not set cookies or store information in your browser’s Local Storage. We do not use analytics, marketing tools or social media tracking pixels. United-domains states that its hosting provider uses technically necessary cookies for the webspace service. Where such cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service expressly requested, their use is based on section 25(2), point 2 TDDDG. Related personal data processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for secure website operation.

6. Recipients and transfers

Data may be received by our hosting and email processors and, where necessary, their contractually engaged subprocessors. The supplied processing agreement provides for processing of data on our behalf within the European Union. We do not embed additional website services that transfer visitor data to third countries.

7. Your rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Right to object: Under Article 21 GDPR, you may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will stop processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds overriding your interests, rights and freedoms, or processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

To exercise your rights, email the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR), particularly in your place of residence, workplace or the place of the alleged infringement. In North Rhine-Westphalia, this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia.

8. Automated decisions

This website does not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
